Do you know what “old” watermelon tastes like?

Do you automatically know how many bananas it takes to make banana bread? (scroll to the bottom to find out)

Try making the fruit/veggie commitment–and eat what you actually buy.

Sounds easy–

First let’s try a few tips to keep things fresher–longer šŸ™‚

*To keep bag lettuce longer wet a paper towel with water and then squeeze out–put the damp paper towel in with the bag lettuce & seal up. (It really does work)

*Sounds obvious but keep potatoes & onions in a “cool dry place” : Keeping them on top of the fridge will make them sprout legs faster. (Not that I would know..ahem)

*Keep things that will spoil fast in view (duh!) If you put them in a bottom drawer you may forget (out of site..out of mind)

Feel free to add tips šŸ™‚
